Options:
1 - All multi-year contracts stay the same; owners will have the option to keep or release 1 year contracts; owners will have the option to keep 1+ contract or roll forward and buyout contract at 10% penalty.
2 - Owners have the option to roll forward up to 5 contracts forward one year. (Examples: Mike Clevinger has a 1 year contract @ 4M, I could choose to "roll forward" and he would become a free agent; Francisco Mejia contract is on a rookie contract, I could choose to "roll forward" his contract one year)
3 - Roll everything forward just like we had a normal season.
Please remember, under options 1 and 2, there will be no RFA or Franchise tags available this offseason.
